Flipping Shene's book "Selected Well-Known Problems" is probably the only must-have algorithm book in the Chinese-speaking world. (In case you don't know, yes I speak Chinese.)
I bought the book around 12 years ago during my Master. It's the first book which makes me feel interested in algorithmic study in the first place. It's format is unique. It is not a text book but it extracts famous problem and their latest development.
Prof. Shene is also a big fan of digital camera and principle. Way to go! I am going to read the book again from Chapter 7 to Chapter 9. After that I would have finish a round of browse read.
