Another thought about studying CLRS

Hmm. When I think about this, this is probably a point I said it couple of times.   But you come to think of it, it should be trivial.

Normally, you read a textbook in order to take a course, but for a book like CLRS, you actually take a course in order to read the textbook.   The former is the mindset for students, undergrad or grad alike, who want to get good grades from a class, getting good GPA and so on and so forth.   In real life : it's equivalent to "meaningless".

The latter is the mindset for practitioner who want to refine the skill and push it to a certain extreme.   That, again, is probably the reason why not many people are willing to read the CLRS as a book.
