TAOCP 1.2.11.2 - Euler's Summation Formula, Bernoulli's number, Stirling's Approximation

Reread TAOCP 1.2.11.2.  This chapter is extremely nice because it makes me understanding 3 things.
  • You can approximate a series with an integral.
  • Why Bernoulli's number is so important
  • How one can derive Stirling's Approximation (in particular, how that can be derived from Euler's summation formula.
It's worthwhile to memorize the formula.
