Finished all Exercises in section 3.1 in my head, also all from 3.2 except 3.2-4 and 3.2-8, also all P3-1. 3.2-5 is tricky but fun to solve. (Alternative definition helps.)
Still hadn't taken detail notes: a sin, from my study of other mathy subjects. Details notes which enhance your connection between topics are very useful. Just doing exercises will not get you too far. I should do this before I do exercise 3-1.1
This chapter is highly useful for 1) reading research papers, 2) dealing with interview questions.

This is my self-study page for the book, "Introduction to Algorithm", or commonly known as CLRS. This is also my diary page of how I struggle and grow in the programming world. I hope this blog can help amateurs or professionals, to improve their skills in programming, learning and living. As of Sep 12, 2011, I finished the "exercise read" of Chapter 2 (20110518) and 3 (20110608) and half of Chapter 4.
